Week of May 22nd

I had so much fun cheering on Sam, Emmett, and Tyler at their soccer game last weekend. Sure do love those boys!

Tyler + kittens = does is get any more adorable?!

This week Annika handed me a cute picture she made of her and I around a Christmas tree -  I was cracking up. Some how the picture got lost for several months. But it made my day! Christmas in May ;)

I didn't think Avery could get any cuter and then she went and got glasses! Love them!

On Monday we celebrated Easton's birthday we yummy chips and salsa. So fun! I love Easton's intelligent mind, hard work, funny sense of humor, and helpful nature. Happy, happy birthday E!

This is the view from the living room in our new house!

And this is our backyard - so much for Bennett to explore!

I will miss opening your cheese, Laurel :(

Could Eden be any sweeter! She is always make my day brighter!

Grace and Mya, two fifth graders, taught the students a health lesson on saying "no" to drugs. Good job, girls!

We were excited about our Dilly Bars on Thursday! Thanks, DQ!

Making our compound machines for our Tiger Rescue project!

Ellecia and Mya earned Eagle Eye cards at lunch - way to go girls! Thanks for being so helpful!

Here is a snapshot of our reading skills, stories, and vocabulary words:

In math, we will continue to review important skills and learn some challenging concepts. Students love learning about ordered pairs on a coordinate grid. So fun!

In science, we will finish up our compound machines for the tiger rescue project.

To help students spend the money they still have, we will be having an auction next week. Please send in at least one item that your child can "sell" in our auction. This can be anything from puzzles, books, stuffed animals, old DVDs. Anything they no longer use, but another child might enjoy. If you have more than one thing to send, that's wonderful! Please don't go buy anything new. If you don't have anything at home to donate, maybe just send in a pack of gum or something like that. Thanks for your help. The end-of-the-year auction is always fun.

Have a lovely weekend!
