Week of May 9th

The students rocked their NWEA tests last week and made me SO, SO proud! Every, single student made growth in every area, which is a first in my teaching career. Man, this group sure is special and full of hard workers.

This week we will take our reading SRI test on Wednesday. The district's goal is for every third grader to have a Lexile score of at least 520 by the end of third grade. Most students have already reached this goal, but I am anxious to see how much they've grown this year!

Don't forget that THIS Friday at 8:45 is our Goin' Buggy music performance. Students need to wear long, dark jeans and a plain, brightly colored t-shirt.
