The kiddos had a fun time with their Vex IQ kits this week. They are making machines for their Tiger Rescue project!
We celebrated TWO fabulous girls' birthdays this week. Happy Birthday, Karsyn and Mira! You are both SO special!
On Wednesday, after the awesome Black Light Show, we got to Skye with the owner of a monkey sanctuary in Florida. I learned a lot and enjoyed seeing the adorable monkeys.
This week we will be working on Cereal Box Book Reports. I always love how these turn out and let's us reflect on the books we have read this school year.
In math, we will be working more on equivalent fractions and comparing fractions. We will also be working on using math in the real world using money (hence the advertisements I asked you to send in).
In science, we will finish and present our tiger rescue projects. And in Social Studies we will finish our large U.S. map. This will help when students are required to learn all 50 states and their capitals in fourth grade.
Please remember to send in empty cereal boxes, ads, and any auction items. It is MUCH appreciated!
Have an awesome three-day weekend. I will see everyone on Tuesday, May 31st! :)
