NWEA Testing

Next week, our class will be taking the NWEA tests on September 10th (Tuesday), September 11th (Wednesday), and September 12th (Thursday). There are three tests (reading, language, and math). Please make sure your child is well-rested these days and has eaten a nutritious breakfast! Thank you for your support :)

My Cup Runneth Over

Wow! Blessed! Amazed! Surprised! Speechless! These are just some of the words floating through my head after that incredible surprise wedding shower yesterday. I am truly in awe of your generosity. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Kitchen Aid Mixer (something I have been dreaming of for years now), the basket FULL of kitchen gadgets and goodies, the adorable CrockPot, and the gift card to Jake's. Words really cannot even begin to express how grateful I am for the kindness you all showed. Thank you, thank you, thank you. These last two years with your children have been a blessing and I will miss them all greatly next year.

Mrs. Peterson

As most of you have probably heard, Nick and I got married this past Saturday. We had a small ceremony with close family and I couldn't be happier. Thank you all for your kind words and well wishes. I feel so blessed to have such encouraging people in my life. P.S. Although I am now legally Mrs. Peterson, the students have decided that it is probably just easier to finish the year calling me Ms. Michel. So, I won't start going by my new name until next school year :)
