Open House Highlights
Thank you to those of you who took time out of your very busy schedules to come to Open House. Only half of my students had a parent(s) that was able to attend Open House. I was kind of disappointed, to be honest, since I will be going on maternity leave in just a couple of weeks and that was probably the only chance I will have had to meet with some of you. If you were not able to attend Open House, I will be sending home some important information in your child's Tuesday folder. As always, please call or email if you have any questions or concerns.
Here are some highlights and reminders that I discussed:
* Please make sure you are reviewing and signing your child’s planner every night!
* Your child should be arriving at school with a FULL water bottle each morning (we do not have a sink/drink fountain in our room).

* Check PowerSchool often! This is a
valuable way for you to see your child’s grades, late assignments, missing
assignments, etc. (If you were not at Open House, this information will be coming home in your child's Tuesday folder).
* Please check your child’s Tuesday folder. Important information and
their graded assignments will be handed back in thier folders every Tuesday. Please make sure they are correcting their papers that say "Correct and Return."
* My last day of school will be Friday, October 4th. Your child's guest teacher will be Miss Amber Keltner. I will be returning after
Christmas break.
